I feel that plagiarism is very important for everyone to be aware of.  Plagiarism can be found just about anywhere.  That is a scary fact.  Many people are unaware of what plagiarism is and the severity of it.  Being a Kaplan student I have learned what plagiarism is and the causes and effects it can have on a person.  Plagiarism can be intentional and unintentional.  To avoid plagiarism,one of the most important things to remember is; to display and promote integrity.  By doing this, you can save yourself from a bad situation and the outcome that comes from plagiarism.  The most important thing to remember is to give credit to where credit is due; whether you are an employee, student, or co-worker.  If an idea is not yours; whether you are putting it down on paper, creating it, or verbal citation, give credit to the creator.  This will keep you out of trouble from the start.  This is where integrity comes into play.
